Ok! I have a problem with this usb of mine a few days ago it was working fine but just this morning as I tried to retrieve few documents I saved there yesterday a error message appeared on the task pane which said that the device had malfunctioned and windows does not recognize the device. I started to panic as this was the first time it had happened.
Did the normal checkups right clicked on My Computer went to device manager scrolled down to Universal Serial Bus Controllers located on which port the usb was connected discovered that it was Unknown tried to update driver but problem persists. Removed outer casing cleaned mother board but inserted usb tilted around abit but problem still there.
Any solution documents very important involves security of a nation.
