Cannot access Microsoft.com

First off, sorry if this isn't in the correct forum, didn't know where else it'd go.

I recently reformatted my computer, and since doing so have been unable to access microsoft websites, getting "this page cannot be displayed" I can still get to live, hotmail etc, but the windows update site and microsoft.com get that error message.

I've tried disabling my firewalls and flushing DNS and a few other random answers I've found through google but so far nothings working. I've also tried running it through another internet browser.

Any help to fix this problem greatly appreciated.

Yes, Microsoft is the only one i've found that i can't access.

can you tracert the sites you can't connect to and post the results. you should also check your local hosts file for malicious entries.
