Can't hear the other person

My headphones work except on a video call. I can't hear the other person. A little sound is coming coming out of the laptop but not enough to hear.

First check volume setting for speakers inside whatever program you are using.

If that isn't the issue, then I would uninstall and reinstall the video call software.
