Can't put card in card reader

The card was stuck in the card reader and I finally got it out by pulling really hard, but now I can't put a card in, even tho I bought a new card. What can I try?

It sounds like you damaged the reader, might try replacing it.

I think learninmypc is right. It isn't the card that's the problem but the reader is bad or damaged somehow.
