Cant see video but can get sound on tv

Good afternoon,
Can anyone help suggest an idea to get the video to play at the same time as the sound. the file is already in MP3 format. I am stuck at what to do next. Thank You.

Perhaps you haven't given us the whole story as often happens on the forum. The MP3 format is for audio files only. It is a compressed format for easier storage and is great for playback on portable audio devices like the walkman. There is no video to accompany the MP3. Maybe you have video in one format without sound and the audio to accompany it is in MP3 ?

Correct. Mp3 is strictly AUDIO. MP4 is video.
