CEO fires 90% of his company for missing a meeting, many were unpaid workers

I di stand by the CEO's decision, except the unpaid workers part, as if they are not being paid so why are they there to begin with.

Because he promised it would work into a full time position with pay. I suspect that the CEO in question was way too optimistic and came to the conclusion that he'd never be able to come through with the jobs. Solution? Make a early must attend meeting with short notice and then get rid of all the people expecting the full time jobs because they didn't show up. Classic narcissistic psychopathic behaviour..

Or you know... the classic... new employees are brain dead. I work with entrepreneurs a lot because of my job... it's just impossible to find good employees nowadays. Even I can't find anybody to hire. In the past year people quit after a few days or I fired them, everybody was either too lazy or incompetent.
