Chelper.exe - service

I am trying to find out what this service is but what I found was not promising. Some sites that in themselves look suspect to me say its a virus. The file path is "C:\Program Files(x86)\SSO\chelper.exe-service". This is on a clients computer thats currently off so I cant log in to investigate. Anyone have any ideas

I would have the user UNINSTALL it & reboot - - it's not part of windows and 'helpers' are never necessary and only SOMETIMES vaguely helpful

BTW: disconnect from Internet; boot into Safe Mode, Login as admin, THEN uninstall & reboot
