I could use some advice. My second monitor just died, and I would like to find a replacement with a few specific features.

Adjustable White Point
As low as possible wattage
As I understand it, having a white point that is adjustable separately from brightness and temperature controls provides a better way to dim the white without dimming other colors. If I am not understanding this right, please correct me. The reason for looking into this is because of my eyes being sensitive to light. If I could, I would replace all white that comes through my monitor with a light tan. That's how bad it is. So, if there is a way I can better adjust how bright the white is, I'll probably take it.
The low power I want for reduced heat. With two screens this size, heat is obviously a problem. So far, I have only found that reducing wattage will have a noticeable decrease in heat. If there is something else, feel free to clue me in.
