Comp random freezing

Everytime I go on my computer lately it just freezes for a period then returns but it may do it a lot of times for no reason ? It gets annoying when you are editing photos and playing games

Your computer may be over heating... Open the case (if your computer is a desktop) and clean all the dust and other debris out. Make sure that the fan(s) are clean and spinning freely...

Now it's time to find out what your computer is... things like make and model, how much memory is installed and how big is your computers power supply

4 GB of ram, Power Supply 750 W, Graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTS 450, Cpu i3 clocked to 4.20Ghz

Take the over clocking off and see if the computer stabilizes

I took the over clock off ages ago because it wouldn't run and still freezes ?
