CompTIA

Dear All,

I hope this is an ok place to put this post. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good books (recent preferably), to help me pass the CompTIA exam.
I am working through it on the Jason Dion videos. I don’t know how he explains the OSI and the TCP/IP models, but Professor Messer wasn’t that clear, I felt. I like Jason Dion’s manner though.

Many thanks,
Matthew

You have to buy their study materials to answer the questions the way they want you to answer them. Because a lot of questions they ask sometimes have more than one correct answer and the only way to get the question correct is knowing what their study books say. That is part of their scam.

But another part of certification scams they are short lived and some potential employers will reject someone if they don't recognize or have a different certification than what they are looking for. This happened to a lot of people who were low voltage copper and fiber compTIA because they were not apprentice electricians.
