Computer crash - green glitching screen

My computer has recently been crashing and upon happening the screen glitches into green and pink colors. After some time I'm either some times able to save my PC from crashing by pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL or it glitches out even more showing partly a black a screen. I've tried switching out my monitor and hdmi cable. I'm looking to find out why this is happening as this is a brand new PC I paid around $1000 for.

Looks to me like a GPU failure...since it is new, I would begin RMA process... keep careful notes and make a record of what you are told to do and what you are able to accomplish.

New does not guarantee "it works" - something called 'infantile failure' occurs with electronics (hopefully in less than 1% of cases). When made they test a few parts, but not all by any stretch of the imagination.
