My Friend has a computer that runs Vista, When you turn it on it is a black screen that say "Windows has detected a problem in the hard drive" So I restarted it in Safe mode... It works then... So i used Malwarebytes to clean his pc... it destroyed 50 some odd virus's. I figured that it was fixed, but it still says that theres a problem in the hard drive... Again it works in Safe Mode and thats it, Im concluding that there is a virus in the registery. I believe I need the Windows CD for his PC, but he doesn't have it. Can anyone tell me the proper name for the Windows CD that comes with every new computer? If thats not the problem can someone tell me what it is???
