Computer won't boot after RAM installed

My computer won't boot after I installed new ram. I installed a 2 gig stick and it got warm. Now ever ram stick I put in I get one long beep it stops after a bout 1 minute. Fans and all drives seem to be running fine. Put old memory in a get the same thing. Did I fry my motherboard or my power supply. If I disconnect the 4 pin atx plug the beeping stops.

Ecs mcp73pvt-sm motherboard oz2 ppc2 6400 2gb sticks pn ocz2t800c44gk. One stick got hot to the touch when I put in.

Try running it with one stick in different slots. What are the results. Use both old and new for diagnostic purposes.

Same thing one long beep also reset cmos and same thing one long beep

Find the make of your BIOS and then do a search for Error Beep Codes for said BIOS. That long Beep is a error beep code and it will tell you wherein the problem lies.

I don't think the one stick sat right when I installed it. Since I get a beep does it mean my motherboard is still good or is my memory slots bad
