Computer wouldn’t shut down then I got it working and now I can’t turn it on

So today my computer wouldn’t shut down by pressing the power button and I had to manually shut it down. Now I’m trying to turn it on and it won’t work I’ve unplugged and plugged both sides of the power cord and removed everything but power to see if it would work but it didn’t so I brushed of a lot of dust bunnies and now everything’s clean and I tried the button in the back and it still won’t turn on my dad is asleep (He is the best with computers) and I can’t go to the store.

Most likely the power button is broken and needs a new one for a couple of bucks. Be patient, let your Dad sleep... and bring it up after dinner (having something good to eat makes computer problems easier).
