Wow.....you need to get out more...The depreciation for BMWs means you can get a used one for a fraction of what they originally cost....I got a 2011 M3 for about 19k (payments) I'm a pretty normal guy that happens to drive a BMW....lumping all BMW owners into some type of snob category is lame...I mean, I don't say that all Subaru/Nissan/Honda owners are all trailer trash do I?

On the contrary, if you look at the used lux market, you'll see that everyone already jumped on that bandwagon and the BMW used market is much higher than any of the others.

Don't be so sure. I sat in one at the Toronto Auto Show years ago. Sure, it looks great but those doors are a hazard. I hit my head on the way in and out. I quickly realised that I would end up hating that car because I'd need a crash helmet just to get in.

I know, eh? Here's another one, even if you get a "deal" on one, the cost of maintenance will end up making it a bad deal in less than two years. These cars are absolute garbage and BMW is cashing in on its name because BMW knows that people who buy German cars tend to be clueless about cars and wealthy or they're clueless about cars and want to appear wealthy or cool. They're like Apple fans in that regard, a bunch of consumerist posers.

I didnt buy apple to be a poser - I just brought it because I like the specs of the phone at that time.
