Crytek wants to go free-to-play only in 3-5 years

    Biiig surprise. F2P is the new cash cow! I'm surprised that governments haven't stepped in demanding a cut due to all the 'virtual' gambling involved in F2P games.

    Personally, I was never tempted to buy anything in Warface. (Not that I could, it being the Russian version and all)

    The only mistake Crytek has made of late is to bring out the beta for Warface and the same time as crysis 3. I have been testing both but its so much more fun playing Crysis. The missions are way to repetitive on Warface

    And it doesn't look anything like the video above, looks exactly like COD MF2, which is actually a big achievement running on a browser

    I'm not convinced about this F2P model yet. We'll probably end up paying more for the game in the long run than we do now even taking money making DLC racket into account.
