Dangerous Error

Hello,

I am having this problem where if I click on a folder in my documents for example I get an alert,"Dangerous Error!" and some other text about downloading an antivirus software. When I hit no it opens a page in my browser about "IE Critical Update Needed".

Please can someone give a solution and have a look at my log file.

I THINK I'm clear of it now. I did so many things, though, I don't know what the fix was.
(if it's fixed, please God, let it be fixed)

There's a video tutorial on YouTube for the removal of it.

Also, on the Secutiry Cadets forum, they had some (I think) helpful tips.

You are describing the classic symptoms of a "Rogue" Program and the 1st
"Thing" to try to remove it is running a "Full Scan" of an Updated FREE Version
of "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" available from
www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php .

In "LeeMcF" s Situation, completely removing One of the 2 antivirus programs,
including the use of its "Removal Tool", is essentail .
