Dell Inspiron 8600 network controller driver missing

  1. Ok had to reload win xp on this laptop only thing not working is the wifi I saw the earlier post someone had and ran the msinfo32 and got this Network Controller PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4318&SUBSYS_50101468&REV_02\4&39A85202&0&18F0 the drivers for this device are not installed can someone please help me find this missing driver I have been looking for 3 days now

    If you use the Dell service tag number at the Dell website, you should be able to find the specific drivers for your laptop including the network controller. If you can't find the service tag, it is probably shown in your BIOS. At least my old, old Dells have it in the BIOS.

    Unfortunitly I've been that route they list around 50 different ones thats why I posted the info above someone else had the same problem and posted here and someone here asked for that info and was able to tell them the exact driver to get
