DirectX issue

I install something called SDK direct x etc, now those files are causing a serious performance hit on some of my games. I already uninstall the SDK pack, but its still there and i also can not find the files in windows/system anywhere.

Have you tried installing a regular (end-user) version of DirectX over that SDK one?

Sorry problem is fixed. I am using the D3D8 , D3D9 debug versions only, they seem to run games faster then the retail ones. Also, the problem is fixed, i just had to run regedit clean out some left behind junk, run directx buster, go back to dx7, reinstall the Direcx9 SDK pack, then reinstall directx9c aug 2007 and everything is back.
