Disable Found New Hardware Wizard? (XP)

My older laptop's video card failed but still works with the default Windows driver installed. However, I get a Found New Hardware Wizard at startup which is very annoying. Anyone know how I'd go about keeping the wizard from appearing every startup? Is there any way I can tell the computer that I don't want to install the video card? Thanks.

Is XP updated to Service Pack 3? There should be a check box on the "found New hardware" window that says "don't prompt me for this again". Check this box
