yes but that does not prevent them from downloading elsewhere, such as p2p and irc... where they CAN actually download files, rather than seeing hundreds of pop-ups and led astray with redirects.

the .sex would not be a site. It provides the user with a key that the .com site validates to view the .com site. but if ford had a ford.com and someone bought ford.sex, they wouldn't be allowed to redirect to the site. ..just a thought of a way to make it work, and acceptable.

err... that doesn't sound so good, what about sex education, would that be education.sex or sex.edu. I guess it would work if the people volutarily chose the .sex domain name.

Close but no cigar. When you do "ccidentally"forget the .com it will do a search for all the ford sites, and as tech savvy as most businesses are today, they will probably want every one but .sex ( and maybe ever that to have it reroute you to the correct site. This way they get every hit possible and their competition doesn't.
Your girlfriend didn't really want a cupie doll anyway.
