Drama after uninstalling nortons

hey all i just resently uninstalled nortons internet security 2008 from my system in favor of avg anit virus and zone alarm firewall. but now it seems i cant connect to the internet cause it says i need to change settings on my firewall and i have yet to install one also i have disabled windows firewall so im stuck anddont know what to do?

If you installed ZoneAlarm, you have a firewall. Open ZoneAlarm Programs section> press F1 to get the Help screen. You need to give your browser (Internet Explorer?) permission to access the internet.

You probably got an Alert form ZA asking for permission but closed it without doing it.

By the way, keep the Windows Firewall disabled.
