Driver problem I think

my keyboard and mouse just stopped at the same time random and lights went off on the mouse n keyboard before and i heard the windows driver sound when it went off then i restarted and its back on. Is this a windows problem? there are no conflicts in device manager.

before unplugging any USB connections either:
a) use the "Safely Remove Hardware" button
b) log off windows before removing connection.......Always

After this happens you will need to restart Windows to reinstall any corrupted drivers (I bought a n-cheap mouse that used to loose connection somewhere inside the terminal and as you could imagine this happened often and at indiscriminate moments :blackeye: ). Went back to the old style DIN plug (PS/2) -and end of problem
