That's the wonderful thing about technology... we don't have to do any of that stuff... We can focus our energies on more important things - like snagging scarce, overpriced GPUs, fixing computers, and arguing on tech website forums!

He is a slick dude. The US administration has been fighting a proxy war against Russia through the Ukraine since Obama was in power. There has been dozens of terror attacks from the Ukrainian government against Russia, killing many Russian citizens. Zelensky the current premier of the Ukraine has his opposition leader in jail and has seized control of the media in the Ukraine. But because the Ukraine is a member of the state department and has close links to the Biden administration the US alongside the media have decided to tow the line that Putin is bad. Despite the fact that the Ukrainian military even has a Neo Nazi division:

Note how the death toll is so low, considering the firepower being deployed, this is because Russians are not targeting civilians. All whilst Zelensky is arming any civilian he can find to protect his racket.
(I know this as my girlfriend is from Odessa in the Ukraine).

Just remember, Satan himself had apologists too. As did Hitler and tRUMP. Fox News and a few of their acolytes are proud of this though, and as actions like this go back as far as Afghanistan, this is nothing new from the Russians.

No one said he was Hitler... but he did use many of the same strategies Hitler used to take (and maintain) power. And he attracted many of the same types of followers... if you are a staunch Trump supporter, I suggest taking a hard look in the mirror and ask yourself who you would have supported in 1933 Germany...

Keep in mind Hitler didn't start any wars in his early political career either. He did however, start WWII in 1939.
However, Trump did suggest we wage war against hurricanes, by "nuking them". Also, that we should wage chemical warfare on covid, by injecting ourselves with bleach.
Then there was the war he declared on free and fair elections, by calling Georgia officials and telling them to, "find me 11,000 votes"..
So, the moral is, we nipped a Trump war in the bud, by, (freely and fairly), voting him out of office..
Other than the war on common sense problem-solving and general decency? None. As Squid Surprise mentioned, I didn't say tRUMP is Hitler. I said that they all had their boot polishers. And for what?

Trump when through four press secretaries. Part of the reason I suspect, was that they couldn't lie up to his standards.
Now Biden's PS is top notch, and even well mannered and informed....... (Although, she should really do something about her roots).

And I think you know nothing of history. Weak leaders make strong leaders bold hence what's happening in Ukraine atm. I've seen mass graves from both sides during my time in Belarus and Ukraine ... from NKVD graves outside of Minsk to mass graves of Nazi victims in NW Ukraine. Anyone who thinks Trump is remotely similar to Stalin and/or Hitler hasn't learned much in their lifetime.

Given that Musk is a self proclaimed scientific "luminary", and primary inventor of all things technical, it is a "tech topic".. For example, he invented rocket motors, electric cars, boring machines, a crap a** gadget somewhere between a cigarette lighter and an actual flamethrower, as well as farting turn signals. How could this not be a tech subject?
BTW, (not to stray too far off topic), did you know that "Lucifer", means "bringer of light"?

I have a degree in history… and those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it… the US was far more stable than early 20th century Russia and Germany… otherwise, who knows what Trump might have “accomplished” during his term.
Everyone knows that if Musk were still the only member of the 200 billion club, he would know that you, Squid Surprise, are talking to a wall. One covered in graffiti that AlaskGuy has decided to believe.
I'm sure that Musk learned long ago that one can teach the uninformed, but you can't teach those that have been pre-programmed.
Musk would check AlaskaGuy's previous postings and see that he still regurgitates long, long disproven conspiracies and peddles them as fact despite conclusive proof to the contrary.

Over Texas too. In fact, if faced with the choice of India or Texas, I'm not sure what I would do. Texas is, just, bad in its own right.

The problem isn't taxes, it's the value of land. The average rent in the Bay Area is over $3,000USD per month. Taxes have nothing to do with it.

I think that if I had to choose a western US state to live in, it would most likely be Washington.

The thing is, we live in a capitalist society... supply and demand... so if the land is more expensive - odds are, it's because it's more desirable!
If land is cheap somewhere, you might want to ask yourself why that is
California land is more expensive than Texas land... conclusions?
