I can't decide if twitter under apple or musk would be worth. On one hand, Musk is a narcissistic ***** who singlehandedly wrecked the platform in a matter of days (I didn't know it was possible for it to get much worse). On the other hand, apple would charge the apple tax on twitter and make it a $50/month subscription (and people would still buy it and apple would still profit).

Well, I'm a bit less pessimistic to have Apple running the sh!tshow. I figure that the same Apple tax ($11.00/mo vs $8.00/mo now), would attach.

As for Musk himself, he's got some emotional, value system (not that he ever had any), nervous breakdown, or midlife crisis going on.

As an example, Tesla was making respirators and parts during the covid initial surge. A few days ago, he was running his yap about how his "pronoun" was, "prosecute Fauci". The a**hole doesn't even know, or isn't willing to admit, that, "prosecute" is a verb.

Maybe he blames the left for sticking him with Twitter. Because god only knows, his own stupidity for singing the deal to begin with, isn't possibly at fault.

Hate speech is also rising rapidly. Up 500% so far. It's more than just numbers of users, and even the tiny, narrow view of anyone's limited reality should help to realize that. It's also no surprise if trump types believe the trade-off is worth it.

In my opinion, what people on the right want is very different from what people on the left want.

For the left, and centrists such as myself, what Biden has done in 2 years is nothing short of a miracle in modern American politics.
