My System froze up a couple days ago with;
* Blue screen, saying it was doing a physical memory dump
* I immedietly shut it down.
* I was in the process of runing several programs one being an update on the system, because it was previous having some issues that looked suspect...
* Now the system opens to a warning----- Isass-Bad Image The application or DLL C:\windows\system 32\LSASRV.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
*I click okay on that warning and the start up screen remains black and the XP operating system does not boot the rest of the way.
* I can open safe mode but do not know enough about the computer or system to know how to work through this without instruction-step by step.
My system is a Dell Dimensions 8400
can anyone help me with this?
