Exit Code: ERROR_INSTALL_PLATFORM_UNSUPPORTED

Hi

I am hoping someone will be able to help me as Dell don't seem able/willing to.

My wireless card is an Intel Dual band wireless AC-7260, the Dell support software says there is an updated driver - Intel-3160-3165-7260-7265-8260-Wi-Fi-Driver_YJNRX_WIN_19.60.0.7_A09.

When I try to update it the installation fails. After downloading the installation file to my desktop and running again I found the error message in the log:

The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 5558 running Windows 10.

Any hits/tips/pointers/suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

Guessing that the 'new' driver is not currently blessed for Windows 10, this may help:
