Inactive Explorer doesn't open

Ever since I manually removed a virus from my system and rebooted it windows explorer does not start up or working and I am unable to run it from task manager. I also cannot access control panel. I ran multiple scans but none reported viruses. Whenever I try to launch explorer.exe it stops working. Currently running Vista.

Correction: After doing multiple system restores, i have figured out that explorer only gets corrupted after i delete win 32.bamital trojan from my system.

If you say so and you don't want to go through a whole cleaning process, it's fine with me...
