Explorer.exe problem

my PC keeps getting a blue screen with stop 0xc000021a error when logging into a profile in Windows XP.
then when i restart, i get a popup box 0xc0000006 error saying 'explorer.exe failed to initialize' and then it just shows my desktop wallpaper and the cursor only. i cant even run task manager. it still happens when i restart.

Go and read this thread HERE and see if it helps you to identify the culprit.

If it doesn`t, please attach 5 or 6 of your latest minidumps.

i think this could be caused by my scanner driver
im trying to uninstall it, but i keep getting this error:

"The Win 16 Subsystem has insufficent resources to continue running. Click on OK, close your applications, and restart your machine"

any ideas how to get past that?
