Eyefinity + CFX

I finally got my Eyefinity figured out. I have set up many of them before, however this one for myself is the first Quad CFX + Eyefinity I have done and just about anything that could go wrong did...oh well it was educational. If anybody else is working on a multi-card, multi-monitor setup and having problems, give me a shout. I got an intense schooling and will help if I can

here is a nifty tool for getting some games to work on multi monitor that are not otherwise compatible. It has been around for a while and It works very well. I am not sure how...but it does.

....I would have bet a healthy sum that this was another year or two away.
Crysis Warhead @ 5760 x 1080 on all Enthusiast settings.

Must be neck wrenching keeping track of your health/power and remaining ammo :)
Mmmm must stick with 2 x CF and no more!

@Red,

Hows the framerates stacking up when the action is getting busy, things are blowing up, and everyone is attacking you?

If thats all 4 GPU's in use there, it just goes to show how heavy eyefinity is on the GPUs generally.

What sort of framerates are you getting with the same settings/4x CF at 1920x1080? Just curious of the impact adding 1-2 more displays makes against running 4x CF HD5850's.

I played the entire 1st level and never went below 32 FPS. for the most part it was between 50-60

well you are pushing 3 x the pixels on a shader heavy game. CODMW2 and Dirt 2 were well over 100 FPS avg on max settings.

I haven't Benched Warhead since adding the 4th card, but I played through the frostmap and I don't remember seeing it go below 75. Dirt 2 on that map is around 240 avg at 1080p.
The frame rates are not linear however, It gives better performance proportionally as the resolution goes up.

Multi monitor and Quad CFX is interesting to play around with. The CPU/GPU dynamics change greatly.
