Facebook bug disables thousands of female user accounts

Yes I was one of those affected as well. Kept tellig me my password was incorrect. The frustrating part of it all is that there is no way to contact facebook AT ALL! No customer service support line, nothing.
My account was back in working order within 2 hours of first trying, but very frustrating! Why did the bug affect only female users? Very strange indeed! Hope it never happens again!

My FB account was also deactiviated for no reason. Yes, they wanted me to scan my DL, but not way was I going to do that. They have enough of my info. as it is. Miraclously my acct. was reactivated the next day. But it was a great inconvenience. Just received an email from FB today with an appology.

BEGIN
IF breasts = female, Dcup THEN
ADD user
ELSEIF breasts = a,b,c
DISABLE account

Truly epic.

Fakebook is a joke - I wonder if my sister got disabled. What are these guys smoking that they think it's acceptable to request that much personally identifying information? And the rest of you who actually use this service give them a free pass on it every time you log in!

Unbelievable.

Brilliantly done matt, just one thing don't forget to add a loop with an option for verification with regard to meeting actual if condition, else end if with account disable :D

Anyway, I have never found one good reason to be on foolbook, frankly, I don't think there is any, CC will agree with me on this one ;)

Ummm no - it's actually NOT free, your trading your use of this service, and the time spent using this service, in exchange for them targeting you for advertising (either overt or covert, either individually or as a mass or market trend), in which to make sales from.

As far as Zuckerburger and his stooges go, your just another number to make sales from, and don't you forget it.

People I know have gotten messages from fake accounts with pornographic pictures, presumably with the intent of spreading malware. If facebook is attempting to address that issue and makes a couple mistakes, I am ok with that. If they can't fix the porn and virus problems, they are going to lose a lot of business.
