Failed account switch

Hey, I registered with this account (gmail).
I want to get rid of my gmail and registered with a new email address (own domain).

After the first post, the new account was banned. "You have been banned for the following reason: Spam." I now want to change the email address of this account to new banned one.

What is the right approach to do this?

You can change your email address under "Account Settings." To get to Account Settings hover your cursor over your user name at the upper right of the TechSpot page and you should see it on the drop down menu.

A tad tricky because of the ban (possibly a mistake), but no worries, I made the switch for you and deleted the new/banned account.
