File sbp2port.sys is corrupted

Hi.

I have XP pro on system. i downloaded xp pro sp3 integrated with oct 2011 updates.
I decided to do a clean installation.
I got the message when I tried to boot from the XP Pro CD, file sbp2port.sys is corrupted. what to do now..help...

Where did you get the download from? If it is a pirated copy it may well be corrupted or even infected with a virus and should not be used.

Do you have the original XP OS disc. If so you can download the Service Pack 3 from Microsoft and slipstream it with the original copy.

In respect of the download you have, if this is a pirated copy, it would be against the rules of this forum to help you with it.
