Final Fantasy XV Mega CPU Battle

It's interesting how suddenly low res low detail tests are more relevant to certain posters now that AMD does well in these particular test cases ;)

Now it no longer makes sense to play at 'GPU bound' settings on a 1080 Ti becaus Ryzen beats Intel at the lowest settings :p so of course that is the result we should all focus on... Haha
Nope, you are just wrong. You are either biased yourself or got biased by other people claiming I'm biased so you think I'm a fanboy. I never said that low res testing is not what we should focus on. I said that it's not indicative of future performance. Which is absolutely correct, and this very benchmark proves it.

Now besides that, the problem with this game when it comes to high details is the gameworks feature, making any kind of benchmark in high settings pretty much wrong.

What's actually interesting is that you didn't call out the "intel fanboys" doing the exact opposite, who now focus on GPU bound settings, cause Intel loses in CPU bound ones. The pot calling the kettle black, right?

PS1. And btw, even in high settings the R5 1600 is way ahead of the 8400 when it comes to 1% lows, so it doesn't lose there either. Haha , right?

Straw just go ahead and drop it and let him have that round, intel or amd which I like both I really don't give a flip.

Looking at the benchmark earlier this morning, its not really anything to get too excited about.

I bought Final Fantasy Type-0 HD over the holidays and looking at it and now this game.
Maybe a slightly few improvements in the rain, grass, dirt and some mountains details.
However its the same old formula square-enix keeps using, project cars detailing in textures looks on par with square-enix.

Finally got around to running this benchmark on my new rig... thought I'd score a bit higher.
