Find out if my firefox history was restored

Hello there,
I've recently gone through quite a rough court battle, and though it went pretty well with plenty of time with my son and no major financial issues I'm still a bit upset that I'm pretty sure my ex restored my search history on my imac to try and find something incriminating. Is there any way to check the logs, or the Firefox software to see if this has been done?
Thanks in advance.

VERY difficult to determine and the settings on the system can make it impossible.

  1. every file on the system has timestamps; two for sure & maybe three
  2. find the browser history (assume you're using Safari)
  3. look at the properties
  4. The create date will be the last time it was 'rebuilt'

it will be impossible to determine HOW that file was created

I didn't provide file names & locations as IMO this all will be fruitless.

I've checked the properties. The time stamp for the date created was from when I first got the computer. If the file is restored wouldn't it have the original creation date not the new one? It's Firefox too. Thanks

That argues that the file has never been emptied and finding any 'restore' data is improbable.

There is a C3 Security approach but Mac/Windows are 99% ignorant of it as the need to findout 'who did what to whom and when' is related to Top Secret systems and not commercial users
