right so there's probably a million post like this already but im going to put down my info to make sure.

Ok, the problem is when i Google search with Firefox most of the suggestions will redirect to some random site, ranging from adult sites to sites that don't even work, and its getting really annoying.

Amazingly i already have Hijackthis so i did a scan and this is the log...btw i dont understand hijackthis at all so if i post unnecessary information my apologies.

The symptoms you report are a strong indication of infection.

I would strongly recommend going to the virus and malware removal board, https://www.techspot.com/vb/menu28.html
read the stickies, and run the eight steps. https://www.techspot.com/community/...lware-removal-preliminary-instructions.58138/
Be diligent to follow the steps exactly.

If you find infections during the eight steps, post your logs in a new thread there,
and hopefully one of the malware helpers will be able to help you get cleaned up.
