Inactive Firefox redirects clicked links

The problem is when I click links, FF will redirect me elsewhere.

I can't give an example of a redirect link because my post count is not great enough yet.

I did some browsing on the forum and read that "not all fixes are applicable to everyone"

Now here are two important things to note.

*This does not happen 100% of the time
*This happens a lot during Google searches when I mouse click, open to new tab​

Im running FF v3.6.8
NIS 17.0.0.136
Win 7 Home Premium

I did a Norton full system scan and it fixed 101 tracking cookies.
I also ran CCleaner (as a side note, not knowing if it's important to this topic)
