I have Lenevo Flex 14 laptop (Ideapad Flex 6-14 ARR)
Problem: Laptop automatically shuts down when Idle and on closing the lid
Solution already tried:
- I checked the power settings. The settings shows when laptop is idle or the lid is closed, the laptop should go into sleep mode. However, it is shutting down
- Tried changing the power settings. From sleep mode to other mode and then back to sleep mode. Still problem occurs
Other details:-
1. The laptop has AMD Ryzen 5 2500U processor
2. Apart from work, I play a game on the laptop. Is the problem occurring because of that?
3. I had a free McAfee antivirus version which came pre-installed. It has expired now and and I have installed Avira Antivirus. McAfee still is installed, however expired. If I check windows firewall settings, it only shows about McAfee firewall, does not show windows firewall. So I do not know, if firewall is on/off.
Request support to resolve the issue. Please let me know if any other details are required.
