Absolutely right.
The cost of gaming rises whether you want it or not. All they did just moved most of the price increases into microtransactions and DLC'ing everything.
Please explain how that's better.
If adjusted for inflation, game prices are actually DOWN compared to the old days.
But gaming companies are no fools, they need to make their profits, so they just add hidden costs.
The fools are the gamers who whine about $10 price bumps every 5 years or so. So companies go like alright then, you'll get unfinished, lootboxed games up your @sses.
