Frequent BSOD when doing anything resource-intensive

Last weekend, I reinstalled Windows 7 Professional x64. Since then, I have been having BSODs that reference ntfs.sys, System_Service_Exception, and Irql_not_less_or_equal. These occur when I attempt to play games (especially Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age - the average time between game start and crash is five minutes). Memtest turned up nothing after 7 passes. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Your issue is with memory corruption. You've run memtest but try running it per stick of RAM for a minimum of 7 as before but if you can do more Passes so much the better.

*** Find the voltage specs of your RAM and compare it to the voltage setting in your BIOS. Do they match?

One stick ran for 32 passes with no errors.
The computer would not boot with the other stick as the only memory.

The voltages and timings were correct.

Sorry for the delay. I've been away for three days. It appears that one stick of memory is bad. Contact your memory maker for an RMA.
