Frequent Crashes on WindowsXP with Dumps

Greetings,

I've been getting system crashes on my XP Pro machine now fairly regularly. I read a similar thread recently where someone recommended attaching a set of mini-dumps to help diagnosis. I've done this and would really appreciate any help from anyone kind enough to consider.

Regards,

Your errors are all the same: 0x00000080: NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE

This is the definition as per auhma.org: This general indication of a hardware failure is often quite difficult to pin down.

Fortunately the driver cited in all five minidumps is Rtnicxp.sys which is a Realtek 10/100/1000 NDIS 5.1 Driver for your system's Realtek NIC card.

You can try two things first:

1. Uninstall and reinstall current drivers for your NIC card.

OR...

2. Update your NIC drivers.

3. The third option is that If both 1 and 2 don't work you may need to replace the NIC card.
