Gears of War fans won’t have to wait much longer for the next installment in the popular franchise from The Coalition. If you’re still on the fence, perhaps this new gameplay trailer will help sway you one way or the other.
The nearly two-minute-long trailer – set to a cover of Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters by American singer-songwriter Lissie – is loaded with action. I’m personally not familiar with the game’s storylines although some have said that the trailer may spoil some of the campaign.
The trailer is scheduled to make its television debut tonight during ESPN’s Monday Night Football telecast of the Bears and Eagles game. Again, if spoilers are something you’re looking to avoid, it would be advisable to either skip tonight’s gridiron tilt or pay close attention during the commercials so you can quickly flip the channel or otherwise isolate yourself from it.
Gears of War 4 lands on October 11 for Xbox One and Windows PCs.
