exactly. a 6600gt running at it's full speed would be generally better than a 9800 (the latter being a bit older). you're just going to have to spend more money for an appropriately clocked 6600gt than a fully clocked 9800pro. in other words, the cheap cards that have been linked here to back your claims up are of a lower speed and thier performance would be less than that of a 9800pro.
