Inactive Get redirected to other websites

I get redirected to other websites various ways. I can click on a Google search result or type in the url directly and get redirected to a site that is trying to sell something.
I've used Malwarebytes, Spyware Doctor and even AVG off line scanner. No help. I did the HijackThis scan and I think I see the issue but I want another pair of eyes to look it. Your help will be appreciated and my wife will be happy.

Make sure, you PASTE all logs. If some log exceeds 50,000 characters post limit, split it between couple of replies.

I found the problem. It was the hosts file. A lot of junk in there. Cleaned it up and now no more redirects. Also the other problem I had before I cleaned it up was I would get an SSL Connection error trying to go to Gmail.
But it is all working now.

One other thing, I understand why you have the Image Verification thing, a couple of times it was real frustrating trying to read it. I had to keep trying different ones about 5 times the first time I had to do it. I just I would give my input on that.

You'd have to contact site Staff, regarding the above issue.

I'm glad, redirection is gone, but if I were you, I'd go through prescribed steps to make sure your computer is really clean.
