Getting application failed to initalize properly (oxc000014)

Getting application failed to initalize properly (0xc0000142)

All I get is a blank desktop. And I can't open with task manager.
Please help!

Tell us more.
What is your computer brand and model, and memory.
Most importantly, what is the application?
Do you have any red or yellow flags in your device manager?
Usually, this error occurs when a device driver is missing or corrupted, or when there is inadequate memory, or when a device has failed/worn out.
