As my title suggests when attempting to download a windows 7 iso putting the product key when asked for, I get this message the product key you entered appears to have com from a per-installed device
My new computer box does not have a cd/dvd as part of the hardware. I simply want to download a w7 iso such that I can install the program via USB. Rather having to plug in an exterior cd/dvd.
The windows program has the box it came in to include the product key on the box.

What does this mean to me using this program adding it to my new build?

Thanks for your response. The media was purchased by me, from Amazon.

Use this for your usb installation, legend has it MS pulled a fast one last year and took it down to prevent any more pirating of W7.
Now If you bought this:

This iso should do the trick I'm not too certain but it should be for oem installation.

Give microsoft a call first and be prepared to be on the phone for an hour depending on which agent you get.

I need a new home for my desktop intel cmos battery. Is it possible there might be an alternative way to connecting a Battery via using a Molex connection?
