GRLDR error fresh vista

Im not sure what to do about this problem, I just reinstalled vista ultimate on my homebuilt machine and when i go to boot i get a GRLDR error under that it says "resetting boot device". I have installed this version of vista 2 times already with no problems and i have never touched anything linux on this machine (homebuilt btw). Vista will boot and run normally but its a real pain having to wait so long for my comp to boot. Anyone had this prob or a possible fix?
