GTX 770 - i5 3450 - Bottleneck

It would really be the other way around, the i5 will bottleneck a 770. You are fine though, the i5 you have is a quad core and 1080P isnt anything that will stress it too much. You may get a few less FPS than if you had a i5 3570K since the 3450 has a lower clock speed.

That's what I tryed to said. My english isn't very good.

I already have the i5 3450. I don't want to buy another CPU. Do you suggest me GTX 760TI instead of GTX 770? Thank you

It all good my friend. The 770 is fine, it wont be bottlenecked by the i5 you have. Just make sure your PSU can handle it.

Your CPU won't bottleneck the 770 but the question is if you really need that power at 1080p. What kind of games are you playing?

Yeah, the 3450 is an excellent processor. Buying a gtx 770 will not be bottlenecked and at 1080p, you will be more than fine keeping games at ultra.

Maybe he has a 120Hz monitor for all we know lol. I know plenty of people who use 680s (770) to game at 1080P, it is the best solution for playing at highest settings.

A 3450 won't bottleneck a GTX 770 at all.

Thanks.

I play Far Cry 3, Sleeping Dogs, GTA IV..
I'm waiting for another games: GTA V, Battlefield 4, Splinter Cell Blacklist, AC 4: Black Flags, Watch Dogs..

I have a 60Hz monitor.

A 760Ti will be the best option in my opinion. If it isnt impressive, the 660Ti will be cheap.
