Hackers turn Cisco phones into remote bugging devices

Internet phones sold by Cisco Systems ship with a weakness that allows them to be turned into remote bugging devices that intercept confidential communications in a fashion similar to so many Hollywood spy movies, SC Magazine reported.

Sometimes technology seems to add more problems to one's life instead of solving them.

Simply amazing isn't it, seems like some kind of breach like this is being reported daily.

It is, and it supports my hypothesis that nothing is 'secure' when it comes to computers (or related tech); because, absence of evidence (of bugs/issues) doesn't mean much at all, you just need bit of time and patience before things start to fall apart (i.e. people start to report what holes are present waiting to exploited by interested parties).
