Halmacpi.dll/ntkrnlpa.exe BSODs on fresh Win 7 install

Driver was downloaded and installed on Monday (nz time). Just had my first blue screen since then: kernel_mode_exception_not_handled (8e), in stack was halmacpi.dll, ntkrnlpa.exe, win32k.sys. Kdcom.dll, mcupdate_authenticamd.dll, pshed.dll, bootvid.dll also mentioned.

I'm really not sure. The PC itself was purchased around july/august of last year. In November, my brother gave me a handmedown ATI video card, after that was installed the computer started turning itself off. Attributing it to the low watt psu, I upgraded it, but instead of fixing the problem it just started blue screening instead, referring to the atikmpag/atikmdag.dll (ati catalyst control center) files.

I've since purchased the nvidia card/reinstalled OS, still getting daily BSOD's, so probably there was nothing wrong with the ati card. Or the PSU.

Latest dumps, there was a good spot for a few days with no crashes, but then yesterday:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0a - halmacpi/ntkrnlpa/win32k.sys
PFN_LIST_CORRUPT 4e - ntkrnlpa/nvlddmkm.sys
POOL_CORRUPTION_IN_FILE_AREA de - halmacpi/ntkrnlpa/ntfs.sys
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL d1 - dxgkrnl.sys/ntkrnlpa/nvlddmkm.sys
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 1a - ntkrnlpa.exe
